Calibrating your monitor

Most monitors are set too bright for correct viewing of photography. Use the test target below to reset your monitor for best viewing.Adjust the brightness of your monitor so that the difference between A and B is just barely visible. You can do this either with the brightness control on the monitor itself or with a software utility such as Adobe Gamma.
